Heartland Treasures
Terrific tally—thirteenth short story was published in a compilation with ten authors this week! It’s exciting because it’s a story my grandfather told. Critique group feedback, and the enjoyment of writing it clarified the lane, or genre for my debut novel series. Light bulb moment!
South Dakota Foreman–Heartland Treasures, describes a young foreman, who hears about a horrible plot by his railroad crew. He dredges up enough courage and creativity, through prayer, and uses the tools available around him to avert disaster.
