No trip to Ireland or Europe is complete without visiting the great cathedrals, in my opinion. I’ve seen many in the 16 countries on my travels. In Killarney, we self-toured St. Mary’s Cathedral after Mass (service) ended on a weekday. It awed my daughter and I, and it wasn’t our first cathedral!
In my Book 1 of my series, Mick Muldoon comments about how cathedrals make people feel small as an ant. It’s true.
