My hubby and I work at home during our “retired” years. We aren’t retired, we’re just tired as we say. There’s been unusual happenings this past week. My son-in-law had surgery, my granddaughter caught Covid, and my sister is ill. I joked the Grinch stole our Christmas, when really he only delayed it. It’s okay, we rescheduled to New Year’s Day. I had prepped everything, and will leave it all that way. I went ahead with other tasks, and mailed 4 Christmas cards across the USA. Time somehow rushed past me with getting those accomplished. Were any of you fully prepped for Christmas, or has it been also been a blur for you? I quickly sent eCards to family and friends I missed other than those 4.
Rushing isn’t often a good idea. Timing is and always will be an uncontrollable factor in life. Why do I still struggle with that concept?
An hour after I chose the funny and cute eCard, filled in all the email addresses, and hit send, my artistic hubby created a personal and perfect photo to share. Sigh. I missed out on using this delightful image.
Then came a light bulb moment. I can share it with you! All my fabulous virtual friends haven’t been blessed with a humorous Christmas card from me yet. Social engagers are important as well, right? This one is for you, and God bless you all.
